Good Morning Solar Racers,

Attached are several KEY documents to help you with the Solar Car Challenge:

[Please note that we will publish a final Where-to-Be document on July 15th]

Let me encourage you to closely read these documents so that you will be prepared for the hybrid race.

Upcoming Event Update
We are continuing a pilot program creating an automated scoring program for the track portion of the race. This automated program will provide greater fidelity in timing between laps and doubly verify the lap count that is already verified by a set of three judges. The pilot program relies on installing an RFID tag on every solar car so that receivers can pick up the signal as they drive past the Judges Station.

Every car will need to install an RFID tag on the left side of the vehicle. We will be sending an Event Update shortly which sets out the details of this RFID tag.
